The Safe Driving Rewards programme uses your EROAD device to monitor your drivers on-road behaviour. If you can demonstrate your fleet is preforming well and has a top safety record via your EROAD leaderboard, you could also have your insurance excess waived.
How does it work?
Safe Driving Rewards helps you foster a culture of safer driving within your organisation. It uses
your EROAD device to monitor and report on speeding, harsh braking and rapid acceleration
If your EROAD records show that your fleet is among the top 25% of all EROAD clients, your company could have its excess waived the following month should you have a crash.
What are the benefits?
- If your fleet is among the top 25% of all EROAD clients, you could have your excess waived the following month (should you need to make a claim)
- Individual vehicle reports allow you to identify and address repeated unsafe driving practices by any of the drivers in your fleet.
- See how your company’s driving safety compares with others in the industry
Who is eligible for the Safety Awareness Seminar?
Any organisations with NZI or Lumley Commercial Motor insurance for a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes and an EROAD device (on an EROAD service plan that includes vehicle tracking) can use the programme at no cost.
